Landflight, a premier West Midlands bus operator, is modernising its operations with Velociti Solutions to increase operational efficiency and enhance the passenger experience.
Serving the region since 1974, the operator is replacing manual systems with modules from Velociti’s Omnibus Software Suite to streamline processes and reduce costs.
A key priority for Landflight is optimising operational processes, particularly the accurate capture of drivers’ hours for payroll purposes. To achieve this, the operator is implementing depot allocation, which streamlines driver and vehicle management, ensures precise recording of driver hours, and integrates seamlessly with control room systems.
Additionally, Landflight is adopting the Engage driver app to enhance workforce management. The app offers real-time communication, efficient access to duty information and instant notifications of any changes, ensuring seamless coordination between drivers and operational teams.
The operator is also optimising scheduling processes by implementing timetabling, vehicle scheduling, rostering, and TransXChange tools. These solutions will improve scenario planning, drive efficiency through streamlined processes and minimise risks.
